A-B Chemical Labels

The American National Standards Institute, also known as ANSI, oversees the development of safety standards for products and services within the United States. The ANSI partners with the organization that works with international standards to enable U.S. products to be used outside the U.S. ANSI has established a chemical label format, color, size, wording, and symbol for each chemical to provide information for those working with hazardous and potentially explosive chemicals.
