Clearly instruct the viewer in what actions he must take to avoid risk. Action should be the primary concern of the label. A warning label must ensure the safety of its viewer, so it must be easily understood and sufficiently persuasive.

2. Utilize Symbols

A symbol underscores the meaning of your label clearly. Furthermore, a symbol will be understood by all and is more quickly grasped in a situation in which safety is of the utmost importance.

in a Headline Style

Use direct words. "Wear Hard Hats" is better than "Hard
Hats are Required". Avoid difficult to interpret adverbs: "Respond
within one minute" is better than "Respond quickly."
